can't install second copy of Photoshop [Elements] 14
I have Photoshop Elements 14 installed on my Windows 10 computer. I want to install it on another computer in a different part of my house.
I downloaded the installation .exe and began to install it. I was logged into my account and was asked the serial number of my Photoshop Elements14 program. The program began to install, but said that I had a start of the computer in sopension, so I should restart the computer and try again. I installed the program and tried to open it.
The second time, I got a message that said I already had the maximum number of copies installed.
I don't see any other copies on my account. Under "devices" I see:
| Surface-Pro-4 on WINDOWS_64 | Jul 26, 2021 | Deactivate |
Is it possible that the failed attempt to install the program is being perceived as one copy installed in addition to the one on the other computer? If so, how do I reset this count'
Under "products" I see the one version of Elements 14 on my first computer, and 2 older versions that I had bought in the past. The Elements 14 version says it's "multiplatform". Does this indicate another copy is installed somewhere, or does it simply mean it can be used on different platforms?
Could one of the old versions be interfering? I don't see any way to deactivate them, and I assume they're not activated anyway.
I have a free Android app called Photoshop Express installed on my phone. Is this interfering with the installation?
I don't see any way to resolve this problem. I've searched the Adobe site and the internet in general, but I don't see any way of resolving the problem. It would have been most helpful if Adobe, when it told me I already had two copies installed, had informed me where they were and how I could deactivate one of them. Instead it left me with a big guessing game, which has already consumed several hours of my time.
