Can't load Canon RAW files to photoshop elements 15

Just switched from Nikon to Canon EOS R7, but can't open Canon RAW files in photoshop elements 15 in Windows. I've run updates and closed and relaunched elements, but still won't work.

Your new camera requires ACR version 14.4. Elements 15 only updates to ACR 9.10.

Although there are some workarounds to update ACR beyond that version, I doubt whether Elements 15 will support ACR 14. When I have some time later, I will see whether it is possible. In the meantime, your only options are to upgrade to a new version of Elements or use the free Adobe DNG converter to convert your raw files to DNG format which should work with Elements 15.

Thanks for your reply. I did try the Adobe DNG converter, but it wouldn't
recognize my CR3 files for some reason. I'll probably need to look into
upgrading photoshop.
