Can't open Elements 6.0 after installing

I recently got a new acer computer and now I can't open PS E6 after installing it. I don't know why. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but that isn't making any difference.

This is a very old version of the software and now you have a new computer with a modern operating system.

Suggest that you install the  free 30-day trial of PSEv.21 which was released just a few days ago. If it works on your computer and you like it, you will have the option to purchase it. Adobe may offer a discount to you as a repeat customer, but check around.
