Can't open files from the MS Explorer

Hi together,

I'm using Elements Version: 14.1 (20151206.m.83730) x64 on Windows 10 (64-Bit).

Everything worked as expected.

But since some days I can't open files from the Explorer directly.

As soon as I click on an image the Photoshop opens without displaying the image.

I can still open a file out the PS-GUI.

After switching from Photoshop to another program like IrfanView the images open without any problem.

What's wrong?
