Can't open the application

I have a MacBook Pro with OS 14.11. I downloaded Photoshop Elements and it appears in my Applications folded. When I click on the application I get a window with choices but when I click Edit, it appears that I have to re-register all over again with instal serial # etc. Why can't I open the application?

I solved the problem by calling Adobe 1-800-833-6687. The person I talked with was very helpful and did something that made Elements work just fine.

I have Mac Studio with OS 14.1 and with Photoshop 2024. Photoshop 2024 will open but not function. The application freezes and responds with a warning 'blip'. I have deleted Photoshop 2024 and reinstalled it but to no avail. The app also opens a screen inviting me to purchase Adobe Apps but this has taken me in circles with nothing working. Is it a problem with OS 14.1 or with Photoshop 2024. Many others seem to have the same problem. Please help.

Go to Apple>System Settings>Privacy & Security>Full Disk Access and add the Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor.app from Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024/Support Files
