Can't open the PSE editor

I'm unable to open the PSE editor although I can open the organizer.   When I try to open the editor through the organizer I'm taken to an advertisement for PSE 2020, and it doesn't allow me to do anything other than look at the new features.

What OS and version of Elements are you using?  Please post a screenshot of what you are seeing.

Thank you for responding, Greg. I’ll be happy to post a screenshot but right now I’m backing up. Actually, a screen shot won’t show anything - just the PSE icon on my toolbar that’s “quivers” a bit when I try to open it, but then nothing happens. I’m using a MacBook Pro with the most current OS. Thanks for trying to help. I’ve been using PSE 15 which Adobe no longer supports.
