Can you automatically save edited photos from Photoshop Elements back into Mac photos?

My old version of Elements always exported my edited photo back into Iphoto. Is it still possible to do this?  I have set up Mac photos to automatically let Photoshop Elements 2021 edit my photos as usual but I need them to automatically be saved back in my mac photos library. Is this possible or is the best way to achieve this
