Cannot access maps on elements organizer 14

I keep on getting this error message when trying to add an additional location in the "places tag" - "A network connection is required to access the map".  I am on a secure network at home and have been using this program for 4 years now accessing this tag and all of a sudden it stopped working.  What can I do to correct this problem?

This is due to changes outside the control of Adobe. In the latest version of PSE a new map provider is being used in place of Google but obviously older versions can’t be updated.

What does Adobe say about organizer maps not working in Elements 2021? If they can't solve this, then they should get rid of the "feature."

Hi Ken,

 

The Places map feature should be working in Adobe Photoshop Elements Organizer 2021.

 

Are you on a PC or a Mac? And what exactly is "not working" for you?

 

If you're on a PC, there was another user yesterday that had a problem with the map feature not working and was able to succesfully solve it using the Windows 10 System File Checker:
