Cannot delete contacts from PSE 11 Organizer

Today I shared a photo in PSE 11 as an email attachment. I looked at the recipient list and there are contacts I want to delete. I could delete contacts under the edit function on the contact book, but under the recipient list they still remain. I tried closing the app and restarting and they were still on the recipient list. How can I clear out the recipient list?

I just realized that I moved pse 11 to a new computer last year but moved it the wrong way. I did not use the correct back up method.  This may be why I can't add, edit or delete the contact book. I now know to back up the catalog separately as well as backing up the computer before moving but is there a file somewhere I need to delete to get rid of these contacts?  I was able to import contacts into the contact book (used for sharing photos thru email attachments) and delete all of them but the original 7 cannot be deleted no matter what  Or where I delete them.

HALLELUJAH- I fixed it. I double clicked on the adobe PSE11 icon on my desktop and clicked " run as administrator ".  I was able to edit my contact book and it's fixed!!
