    Hi jacquesk,

I understand you are facing issue with the installation of Adobe Elements 15.

Can we follow the following steps:

    Firstly,

Please click here to download Adobe Application Manager for Mac.

    - After installation please double click its icon by searching it in "Finder" to complete the installation.

    Secondly,

Please click here to download Adobe Photoshop Elements for Mac.

Please click here to download Adobe Premiere Elements for Mac.

    - It will be downloaded as a trial version & the file has a pack of multiple languages that includes "English"  but when during installation you will mention your adobe id, password & serial number then it will become full version .

    - If you face more issue regarding installation & activation for Elements then please contact our Support Engineers via chat by clicking here.

    Hope this works for you.

    Thanks

    Regards

Yes, you would think that this proposed solution would work, and it may work for many customers. But it didn't work for me, and it took about 4 hours on the telephone with 3 escalating levels of Delhi-based Adobe tech support, after I had spent a lot of time trying to solve the problem on my own. They couldn't make it work either on my MacBook Pro running Mac OS X 10.12.4 (Sierra). Eventually, the third level support engineer used a brute force solution of deleting every Adobe related item on my machine. That's all of the Adobe applications, all of the Adobe utilities, all the content in /Library/Application Support/Adobe, all of the Adobe items in the /Library/Preferences folder and more, since Adobe installations place items in lots of locations. When you uninstall Adobe applications using the Uninstall apps or Adobe Application Manager, it doesn't completely clear everything out. So we found Elements artifacts going all the way back to Photoshop Elements 6.0, plus CS3 files, and much more, totaling about 4 Gb of content in the Application Support/Adobe folder.

Then we reinstalled Creative Cloud applications Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC, then we were able to install Photoshop Elements 15 and Acrobat Reader. But we couldn't install the desktop version of Lightroom, which I need because Adobe software "calls home" frequently. If I don't have a working Internet connection when it calls, then Lightroom CC will stop working. The attempted installation of Lightroom still fails, and I received some lame response about how you can only have CC or the desktop version, but not both. (Both of them were running OK before this Elements installation problem.) This was an extremely time-consuming process, for which I received minimal compensation for my time and my inability to use this proprietary software.

The initial problem was that I bought a new camera, which was first supported in Camera Raw 9.10. I was running Elements 14, but Adobe wouldn't update its Camera Raw 9.5 to Camera Raw 9.10 when I searched for Updates. Adobe's response was that they don't update previous versions of their software. In other words, once Elements 15 was released, they blocked Camera Raw updates to Elements 14. So if I wanted to use the raw files from my new camera, I had to use either the CC applications or buy a license for Elements 15. So this whole fiasco was triggered by my inability to install Elements 15 in this situation. All of these problems have given me the incentive to explore an Adobe-free environment, and I'm pleased to say that there are numerous excellent alternatives available.

    Hi Jacques,

Please ensure that your system fulfills the minimum system requirements necessary prior to installation of PSE 15. You can find the same at following link:

System requirements | Adobe Photoshop Elements

If system requirements found fine, you can try downloading PSE 15 from Download Photoshop Elements | 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 and use the same activation key that you already have for PSE15 or use it in trial mode.

Please mention if your issue still stands unresolved.

    Thanks,

    Arshla

I tried to install Photoshop Elements 15 on my 2013 MacBook Pro running MacOS 10.12.4. Photoshop CC and Elements 14 are both installed and run fine on this machine. I want to install Elements 15 and then uninstall Elements 14. I have to do this because Adobe would not provide the Camera Raw 9.10 update for Photoshop Elements 14, which comes with Camera Raw 9.5. My new camera's file format is not recognized by versions older than Camera Raw 9.10. So I need Elements 15 on this machine.

However, the installation program gives me an error on installation because I only have a single core Intel i7 on this machine. Since Photoshop CC works fine on this machine, why won't you allow Elements 15 to be installed?????
