Cannot open edited raw files

I have moved my Photoshop Elements 12 from my old laptop running on Vista to a desktop running Windows 7.  The program worked fine on the old system, albeit a bit slow, but on the newer system edited raw files will not open with a message telling me there is a program error.  Any suggestions?

When you write "moved" does that mean you installed pse 12 on win 7 using an install media or just copied over pse 12 from you old computer or backup?

If you just copied it over, you need to actually install pse 12 using an installer like the one you can get from here:

Download Photoshop Elements | 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10

Did you try Help>Updates from within the pse 12 editor to get the latest camera raw 8.5 plugin for pse 12?
