Cannot open Editor in Elements

When I open Photoshop Elements, I can open organizer, but Photo Editor will not open.  If I click on it, nothing ever happens.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software and it still will not work.  Please help.

@tonyad18273683 Thanks for reaching out to Photoshop Elements team, could you please confirm which PSE version you are using. Also it would be great if you can confirm if any instance of PSE is running. If yes, try to kill it and re-launch the app again. Please share your findings after following these steps.Thanks!

@tonyad18273683 what OS and version of Elements are you using?

 

Are you clicking on the icon in the Home Screen?

 

When you say: nothing ever happens, do you mean literally nothing?  Or do you see a splash screen come up?

 

If you are using Windows and look under the Processes tab in Task Manager, is there any activity for the Editor?

 

Do you have a wi-fi printer?

 

Added Questions:  Has the Editor ever worked or is this a new installation?   And do you have a prior version of Elements?
