Question

Cannot open my raw photos

When I try to open raw CR3 files from my Canon EOS M200 I get an error saying that the file isn't supported.

According to this link, my camera is supported as of version 12.1 of the raw plugin. When I check my version it reports as 12.0.0.323. I cannot find an option to update it.

I installed Photoshop Elements from the Microsoft store on a 7 day free trial. So far the trial is not going well as it can't read my raw files.

You have the latest ACR plug-in.  Your option is to convert your raw files using the free Adobe dng converter.  These can be read by Elements.  It is likely that Elements will be coming out with a new version in the next month or two.  Generally, a new version of the program ships with the latest ACR version.

Is there a way I could modify the image files to report as EOS M50 photos?
