Cannot open pse 2020

Hello,
a couple of years, I bought the license for pse 2020. and lately, all of a sudden, it is no more possible to open the app. It says the testing phase is ended and I have to buy the software or enter the activation code (which I did insert and nothing happened. I am stuck in a Loop of inserting the serial number). So I tried to login in my adobe account and activate/download again, but no change...!
Anybody has an idea what could bring my pse back to life?

. . .  and if you purchased the software from a third party, you would have received a redemption code which is different than the serial number.  Click this link and you will be taken to the Products page of your Adobe.com account.  You may have to sign into your account. This will contain your registered serial number for Elements 2020, which will show as Version 18.0.

If you are seeing a screen something like the following screenshot, there should be a button to Activate Now.  Click it and you should be able to enter your serial number. 

 

If that is not the case, please show us a screenshot of the message you are receiving.  Make sure no personal information is included in your screenshot.

Suggest that you contact Adobe directly. Log into your account and access the Help & Support tab. In the lower right quadrant of the screen there is a circulay icon. Click on this and type "Agent" and initiate a chat.

thanks for the help. Unfortunately nobody wanted to help me, because I have no subcribtion (I only bought the software once for lifetime).
Do you have other tips what I can do to make my sofware start again?

There are agents and then there are agents!! I don't understand what the testing phase is  all about. Try calling Adobe and explain to the functionary who answers that you need help with activation of the software, not how to use it.
