Cannot re-install PSE 9 & Premier Elements 9

Getting an Error Message that the "Developer needs to Optimize these Apps" in order to Install onto mac OS High Sierra. The re-install from original CD's failed. Early 2013 model MacBook Pro w/Retina Display.

My MacBook Pro needed a trip to an Authorized Apple Dealer to correct a problem with the High Sierra OS in that the Security Update, 2018-001 could not be completed due to the fact that the Restart Process to finish the Security Update hung up the System. The problem was designated, "a Software Issue" by Apple.

After a complete erase of the MacBook Pro and Restore from Time Machine, some Apps needed to be re-installed from their original CD's. The Adobe programs mentioned above could not be re-installed.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I would please suggest to go through the system requirements for Elements 2009 version.

Photoshop Elements system requirements

Since it was developed to work on the latest OS of its time, and there have been many updates in the new MAC OS, so quite possible that latest MAC OS might not support 2009 version of Elements.

Please feel free to download and use Elements 2018 version for 30 days of free Trial and if you like, you can buy it after the trial period.
