Cannot register Photoshop 12 serienr. ”Serial nr already used”

I had to reistall everythinh on my computor and when istalling Photoshop12, witch I have om Cd, I have to intialize the program on my account. Then I get the message 'serial nr already used. How to do?

Did you deactivate before uninstalling?

How did you "reinstall everything on my computer"?

Did you make any hardware changes?

On how many other computers has this been installed?

Did you purchase it directly from Adobe?

Thank you for answer.

No, the computor worked so bad so I had to begin from beginning without deactivating.

I installed Windows "from the beginning" and after that all aktual programs.

After installing and starting Elements 12, I was asked to log into Adobe. Then I should write the serial number and I got the answer "Serial number alreade used".

Then?

I know that the program is quite old, but it worked good for me.
