Cannot Save Default View

This just started a day ago.  I have Elements 15 and always use Expert.  Whenever I started Elements, it defauylted to Expert as well as the editing tools that I used. Now it defaults to Quick every time I open it, and the editing tools (sponge) are back on the menu and I have to change it to the burn tool.
