Cant log into Photoshop Elements for the Mac

Adobe Photoshop Elements is not letting me sign in. Tells me "Sign in required". I enter email and password and it brings me back to the same window.  I've tried changing passwords.  I've tried connecting my Adobe account to my Apple account and using my apple password. Nothing works
