Catalog conversion and file import

hello, sorry I make my first experience with photoshop elements 15 and i am not so familiar. So maybe I have a stupid question.

I changed from version 10 to 15. in the organizer i passed the first question concerning the conversion of the catalog. So I made it afterwards. So fine so good. But in the Editor us after the conversion nothing to see. Do I have to import the picture additionally?

I have a missundestanding between a catalog and imported pictures. The picures are on the same coptuer as for photoshop 10. in Version 10 ii can see the catalog but not in version 15.

what i did wrong and gave to do, to see the catalog/pictures for photoshop 15?

    Hi Maike,

    To use your PSE10 catalog in PSE15, you need to convert that catalog. This would keep all your organization intact in PSE15.

    To know about how to convert catalog, please see Create and edit catalogs in Adobe Elements Organizer

    The concept of catalog is used by Elements Organizer only and not Editor.

    In Editor, you would need to re-import the images you want to edit.

    Hi maikeb,

    Thanks for posting in Adobe forums.

    I can understand you are not able to see anything even after converting your catalog from Version 10 to Version 15.

    Can we try following steps:

    - Download & install trial version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 , 12 , 13 & 14.

    - You need to convert your catalog file of Version 10 to firstly Version 12 and that same converted file to Version 13 & so on.

    - After you convert your catalog with Version 14 please use that same catalog file in Version 15 & convert it.

    - Open the latest converted file in Version 15.

    - Please click here to download Version (12 , 13 & 14)
