Catalog import & convert.

Hi,

I am currently useing PE15 and I have just installed PE 2019 trial. My question is when you import & convert the catalog from 15. Will it make a new one in 2019 ver and leave the current catalog in PE15 so I can still use it if I do not like the 2019 ver?

    Yes, it creates a new PSE 2019 catalog and leaves your PSE 15 catalog intact.  So you can still use PSE 15 with the PSE 2019 trial version.

    I know this because I just did the same thing with the 2019 trial upgrade from PSE 9 - I can still open PSE 9.

    Hi,

    When you convert the catalog in Elements 2019, the catalog with its current name is converted to that of EO 2019.

    The old Elements 15 catalog is also retained with '1' appended to the catalog name, i.e. ''CurrentName 1'
