Catalog Restore Error

Question

I'm trying to restore a catalog that simply disappeared (along with the Photoshop Elements app). I get this error (attached below) when trying to restore my catalog. I don't know what to do as it doesn't make sense to me since my computer is only 1 1/2 yrs old. Can anyone advise? Thank you.

What OS and version of Elements are you using?

Catalogs don't simply disappear without some action on your part. Please explain in greater detail what happened and any file management that may have caused the issue.

If you are on Windows, go to C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs and give us a screenshot of the folder contents. (This assumes that you have not changed the location of the catalog.)
