Catalog Structure changed after Using Recovery

I used a Full Backup to Recover my Organizer. It has reappeared  in the Organizer in the same structure

(Catalogs/ My Catalog/My Photos/ Photo Backup by Year/ Photo Backup by Year) that I originally used.

But in the Explorer view the Structure Has Changed. The Files are no longer sorted into folders by Year. See attached screenshot After the list of folders for every day's shooting I find my "MY Photos" folder listed along with everything else on that EHD. 

I use an EHD for my Catalog so that I can access it when I travel and am using my laptop. I previosly imported Photos from the camera directly into the My Photos folder of My Catalog.

Question 1      How can I restore the structure to the Explorer version of the Catalog? Can I do it within Organizer?

Question 2      To download my photos from the camera from Organizer how can I restore the structure I had with "My Photos"in it ? Otherwise all my photos will be in this gigantic list for each days shooting instead of under the Year folder.

When I click on the Location under Information in Organizer it shows the "My Photos" folder and ANOTHER catalog under the list of daily shooting folders. See My Photos screenshot.Inside Organizer the individual photo location is in that big list of every shooting day folders.

This is such a mess, but if it works should I just leave it alone? Or start a new better organized Catalogue?

Can anyone help me sort this out?
