Certain sections of Elements 2021 have stopped working or cause a crash

I recently installed (3 weeks ago) PS Elements 2021 to my new computer. I was familiar with an older version previously. Over time certain sections of the program have stopped working or cause a freeze/crash. It seems to be getting worse over time (cannot straighten a photo without a crash, skin smooth in perfect portrait no longer functions) and the program is getting slower and glitching with just 2 or 3 photos open.

Should I uninstall/reinstall? Or is this a common thing?

Since you have a new computer, I suggest trying to update your graphics card driver. New computers frequently come with out-of-date drivers (or rely upon the Microsoft default driver). Get the latest driver from the graphics card manufacturer.

Windows 11 Home edition. It's frustrating because everything was laser fast when I first installed, now I can't straighten a photo without loading it onto my old computer...

@Greg Diesel25549301awlj, I'm still on Windows 10 and have ZERO problems. I've read other reports of similar problems with Windows 11 and PSE. So, I'm holding off upgrading to Win 11 till I see these reports go away.

I hope you find a resolution to your problem.
