Changed my Photoshop Elements 2020 UI

to 200%

I want to change it back to 100, but everything

is showing outside of my monitor's limits.

Can't drag it back to select anything else...

Correct answer GoldingD

UI scaling is set to 200%   Way too high.

Everything went way past monitor's edge

I hate to think of reinstalling.

If PS Elements is like Photoshop, then you might be able to access the preferences via keyboard sequance

CTRL-K

Ahh, in a video

And I am not at all sure of this. But consider the preferences file. Location mentioned in the link below. If you delete the preference file, then start PS Elements, it should get recreated from scratch, This will likely revert various items including the preferences to defaults. Over on the LrC, and occasionally PS side the preferences file can get corrupted and resetting (Adobe speak for deleting it) solves odd behavior issues (perhaps like yours)

Note that a member basically told me once I was a (censored) as his preferences got all fouled up, meaning they went to defaults, and he had to spent hours fixing that (who has that many preferences not set to default??). I think you can back them up

Oh, I see fixed, Good night

In your Windows OS, change your display properties (display settings) , then drag it back down, change your display properties back.

Several way to do that, for example, on your screen, on the desktop, anywhere where nothing is shown, right click, then run thru the options

Now if that is already as large as offered, then a different route,?????

By the way, this is the LrC community, not the PS, so some sort of I don't know.

Tried that. Whatever resolution I change my monitor to, the photoshop display is larger than the window afforded me.

Where is this UI setting changed? I do not have PS Elements, but I do have PS, might be similar. Perhaps in the preference file, perhaps in Interface? Is this the UI Scaling?
