Question

Cheap laptop, 4GB RAM - Elements 2018?

Hi folks, I'm visiting a sporting event abroad and aim to take a ton of photos and need editing software. I have PS Elements on my laptop at home but didn't want to drag it abroad. I just purchased a cheap laptop with only 4GB RAM - my mistake. On coming to the Adobe page I had hoped to simply download my software to this laptop but made a school boy error by not realising it would not run without at least 8GB RAM. My tech knowledge is limited to say the least.

I believe an earlier version from 2018 will work. Does anybody know if that's correct and if so where I can find a link to download said programme??

Thanks in advance.

@Walter_H

The ProDesignTools links that went directly to Adobe servers no longer work.

Darn, you are correct! I just tried a few links on their wesite and I only get the small PSE2023 or PSE2024 download & install program.

I'm not sure if PSE 2018 will run in your laptop with only 4GB of Ram. But, you can download PSE 2018 from ProDesignTools and try it. You'll need to have a genuine serial number, or it will only install as a 30-day trial.
