Clone tool,

When I use the clone tool in Elements 2018  when I Alt-click the whole photo doubles and the top one moves around and cloning is impossible, tech team say they can't fix it because it is 2018

    In the tool options try checking or unchecking the box to sample all layers. Otherwise a simple reset will often do the trick. Go to this link and select the clone tool:
