Collage and missing files - Elements 2021

My "Attach missing file" gizmo in organizer says I have no missing files. But after creating a collage and opening it to display in the organizer it opens to the "Files missing from Catalog" screen.

The file looking for the missing file is Untitled-1.pse. I've invoked the Find missing file utility many times to no avail.

All the various combinatiins of photos selected for the collage are complete - no missing components.

Any suggestions?

All fixed.

I created a new catalog based on this help guide:

This error was caused by a big "no no." Never move photos around from outside Elements.

Not all fixed in V2021. A day later the collages I earlier created after creating a new Catalog were broken again - without further action on my part. No Windows files were touched. Rather than spending much more time attempting to fix the various Elements 2021 quirks than with actual organizing, editing, and creating, I am going back to my Elements 9 and Lightroom 5 - much more solid and reliable without the several time consuming/wasting issues (task bar, duplicate images via USB cable, now broken collages) I've had with 2021.

Yes, fewer features with the older versions, but more solid, predictable performance.
