Color Photo's from raw opening Jet Black

I do most of my editing in photoshop camera raw. Last week if I opened multiple photos at one time, only the first image would appear in color. The other photos would open jet black on screen but the I could see the image in full color in the layer panel. Now, all of them are opening jet black once I open them from camera raw. I tried to save them and see if that would work since I could see the picture on the layer panel.
