Color Profile error message

Hello Group,  I always seem to encounter rare and bizarre problems when using any computer program!

So, I use a photobook program called Photoimpress and have done so for years without issue using photos that have been tweaked in photoshop elements.

After upgrading to Elements 15 I've had some problems with the program that the photobook people don't understand either.

Photos that have been created with photomerge panorama and some using the new "Perspective crop" tool can not be loaded into the photo book program.  This has never been a problem before.

I get an error message stating the file's color profile is CMKY and needs to be converted to sRGB.  Every place to look for photo image detail says that the image is indeed ALREADY sRGB.

I've tried renaming, resaving, removing the profile, resaving as sRGB.....The detailed information says it's sRGB. Elements says it's sRGB but for some reason the book program thinks otherwise.  Again, only photos that have been photomerged and some with the perspective crop.  My former Elements was 9 and I now, as I said have 15.

    You use the BookDesigner software to make the photobook?

    Which version are you using?

    What operating system do you have?

    Do you get that color profile message when your in the Select Pictures Tab and try to open the photo or in the Edit Book Tab?

    You could try taking one of the problem photos and use File>Save for Web, select Jpeg and see if the photo works without the profile message.

      The save for web does work.  I just find it very odd that the photobook program "photoimpress" seems to think the colour profile of the picture is not sRGB when it clearly is and only with photos that have been created with photomerge panorama and perspective crop.

      If save for web works, that means that most of the metadata have been cleared from the file header. The result is that Photoimpress will no longer misinterpret the metadata. Obviously a bug from Photoimpress.
