Colour Picker and Photo Bin not working

Question

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022. Purchased in June 2022. Just recently went to edit a photo on my MAC and the program will not show uploaded photos in the photo bin properly. It shows only the same photo repeated and all distorted. Along with where you would select a colour. It now shows the colour box split in half with two colours. I went to the Adobe site - chat bot - finally got an agent who said she couldn't help me but I have to call 18008336687 which I did. He kept directing me to the community.adobe.com site. And when I asked if he would be helping me or is he asking me to find my own solution, he hung up on me. What do I do. My photo program is not working and I can't seem to find anyone to help me.

If you have Sonoma, you are basically out of luck- not much you can do to fix it. If you have something other than sonoma please let us know.
