Uso Elements 10. Despues de actualizar el firmwera (DistortionControlData?) a L 2.018, Elements no puede usar las fotos en formato NEF(RAW). Dice que la fila está dañada.

On windows 10 using the Adobe DNG Converter 14.5 i didn't have any issue converting the nef you provided to dng.

What operating system are you using?

Can you post one of the Nikon D5600 nefs, so we can try on our systems.

You can use something like Dropbox or similar.

Your camera requires Adobe Camera Raw 9.8. Photoshop Elements 10 only supports Adobe Camera Raw 6.7. You either need to upgrade your version of Elements or use the free Adobe DNG Converter to change your NEF files to DNG.

Gracias por la respuesta. Intenté con Adobe DNG Converter y tampoco pude abrir la fila NEF. Creo que tendré que actualizar Elements a una versión superior.

It could be that your using a version of Nikon Transfer that has now been outdated because of the Firmware update to your camera.

Go to the Nikon site and get a newer version of Nikon Transfer or use a card reader to get the nefs directly off your camera and then see if the dng converter works.

What version of photoshop elements and operating system are you using?

What version of camera raw do you have?

Are you using Nikon transfer to get the photos from your camera?

If so, there is an issue with Nikon Transfer corrupting the nikon nefs in such a way that adobe camera raw won't open them. You might try getting an updated version of Nikon Transfer from the Nikon site and see if that corrects the issue.

According to adobe the Nikon D5600 requires at least camera 9.8 and pse 10 can only use up to 6.7, so were you converting the nefs to dng?

Can you post an example nef file somewhere like dropbox so we can try?
