It's the type of thing you can install, and forget about.  You won't get any "this converts into a subscription after 7 days" type of deal.

The short answer is yes.  Some (but not all) users are given the ability to save files to an Adobe Cloud account.  The storage amount is small but it is totally free.  (Obviously, you can pay for a larger account.)

While it may be possible to remove the CC application from your computer, it is not advisable and is somewhat difficult to achieve.  Deleting the app. may also cause problems with the Elements product that you purchased.
