Constant reinstall

In order to open PSE 14 I have to continually input the 24 digit ID # ! I have used two previous elements and that was not required . I purchased the program from best buy (a brick and mortar store) . So why do I need to constantly input the number?

    It is normally only necessary to input the serial number once, provided you remain signed-in. You can check from the Help menu in Expert mode where you should see your email address displayed.

    The only other exception is where you have installed the software on more than two computers and switch between computers.

    The PSE14 has been installed on one computer. I will now wait for a couple of weeks to find out if your answer is correct. the PSE14 was being used every day for the past month.
