Contact Sheet - Photoshop Elements 2019

Hi everyone

I´m doing a contact sheet with a lot of photos of my youngest daughter

Contact sheet, crop to fit, 3 columns layout, with date sellected.

On the left corner photos are ok, order by date.

On the center column, they don´t appear by the same order.

Am I doing something wrong?

Legend

They usually sort from left to right along rows. Top row is 1, 2 & 3

Next row is 4,5 & 6 etc

Thanks Jon.

But the 1 Billion dollars question is, why it doesn´t work.

Files are with original date and no edition.

Any ideas?

Legend

The sort order in Organizer is usually respected for the selected items e.g. oldest or newest. The date digitized (normally capture time) is used but if missing e.g. a scanned or other document; then modified/created date will be used.
