I have a copy of Photoshop Elements 2019 Version 17 for Windows. I intend to upgrade to the newest version. At the same time, I’d like to purchase the same version of Photoshop Elements for my niece and then send her the software and a backup copy of my Photoshop Elements database. The concern I have is that while I use Windows, she is a Mac user.

Can she “restore” a backup on a Mac that was created in Windows without a loss of data?
