I shot RAW photo's by mistake and I'm not well versed in editing RAW (yet). I know how to convert them to Jpeg in PSE 2023, but they are still quite large and seem to retain the lack luster apperance of the original RAW photo. I assume I am just repackaging the unedited RAW photos and so they still need editing.. Is there a way to perform a "auto" edit and convert in a batch or do I have to edit each file before converting.
Note, I usually shoot RAW+Jpg, just forgot to reset the camera after some experimentation with SD card speeds.
Thanks in advance

Do you use the organizer?
For big batches I suggest a two steps batch process. From the organizer, select a batch of files. Recommended: add a temporary keyword, create an album or store them in a new folder to be able to reselect them later when needed.
-1 - Open your batch of raw files in the ACR module.
Click on select all (Ctrl A) - Click on the 'Auto' box next to 'Edit', second line under the histogram - Click on 'Done' to save the auto setting to the sidecar xmp files. You are back to the organizer. The auto settings are saved and you are back in the organizer.
2 - Now, re-select your raw files in the organizer.
Select all those files, use the 'export as new files' command and export them in your preferred file type in a new location. That export stage has many options like size, renaming etc. Note the the exported files are not registered in the catalog. You may 'import' them easily if you want from the newly created folders.
In the first step, instead or together withe the 'Auto' setting you can apply various profiles or select a new crop ratio. Or you can add saturation, clarity or sharpening. For instance applying a given B&W profile to all files for a coherent set of files with the same look.
