Copy of edited photo when saved to USB will not play back on TV

Am using Windows 10 and Elements 14, Have edited recent photos (mainly cropping) and have tried to Copy/Save to USB stick for viewing on TV. The original unedited photo's work fine but the edited photo's give a message on the TV " Playback not available"

Have tried renumbering but no success in Elements. I can copy and save the edited file using the Windows photo program which then works however this does not show the star rating so it will be very difficult to use.  Have tried renumbering to delete reference to " edit" in organiser but no way can I get it to work. The edited photos readily print from the memory stick. Any clues please.
