Crashing when saving

Every time that I try to save a photo in Photoshop Elements Version 10 the program crashes. My computer is an iMac with 2.5 GHz intel core i5 and 4GB memory. I recently updated the operating system to High Sierra 10.13.2 and my problem seems to have started after doing this upload. Is there any solution to this problem?
