I am trying to make buttons for sports teams...I would like the image to cut the exact same size circle in each photo of the players, and not sure how to do this in the editor.

    1. Open picture file, duplicate background layer and shut off its visibility by clicking on the eye icon. Work on Background copy layer
    2. Activate the Elliptical Marquee tool. On the tool's option bar, set Mode:Fixed size in the drop-down, and enter H & W, e.g. 3"x3" or 4"x4"....., and feather 1-2px
    3. Drag out the circle centered over the player(s)
    4. Go to Select>Inverse
    5. Hit delete on the keyboard
    6. Press CTRL+D to get rid of the marching ants.
    7. This will leave you with player surrounded by transparency
    8. Save this as a PNG file to copy/paste subsequently on your canvas. PNG file format supports transparency.
