Creating a slideshow on Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019

When trying to create a slideshow from my album, the images that appear are so large that I cannot access the control pane on the left to change settings, e.g. , themes, music, etc.  The tool bar across that top is also not visible and therefore, not usable.
