Cropping Photoshop Elements 15

Question

Just beginning with Photoshop Elements 15. When I do some cropping on a photo in Edit, save as, etc. I go back to the organizer and the photo is totally different...cutting a head off, etc. I'm sure the answer is probably pretty obvious, but this is all new to me.

The image saved should look exactly as it does in the editor at the point of saving. Unless you are using an auto crop suggestion and simply clicking the green check-mark without looking.

What crop settings are you using in the tool options bar at the bottom. If you are not concerned about keeping the original aspect ratio you can choose unrestricted. Then simply drag the crop outline over the exact portion you want.
