Deactivation question

I have bought and installed Photoshop and Premiere Elements 15 so no longer require V11. I have deactivated both V11 programs but when I enter my Adobe account, it shows V15 but it still shows V11 and even an older V8. Should these old versions be erased? I shall probably sell V11 so the new owner will need to activate.

Also, to uninstall the old V11 programs, is it OK to use Revo Uninstaller which I usually use to uninstall software, or should I use the standard Windows uninstaller? I am worried about uninstalling any Common files or registry entries.

    I assume you've bought the full version of version 15, not an upgrade. If you've bought an upgrade then you cannot sell version 11. If you've bought the full version of 15 then you're free to sell your earlier versions.

    Those are registration details which are entirely separate from activation. They'll be erased when you submit a product license transfer form to Adobe notifying Adobe that ownership of those earlier versions has been transferred to someone else.

    Adobe's standard instructions point to using the Windows uninstaller but I cannot see any issues using Revo instead.

    Thanks for that John. I tried the Contact link for a case number but that only enters a generic help page where the CHAT link is greyed out.

    Also the Transfer form is strange. It refers to the new owner below but the form has to be completed by the transferee and there is only space for one name. In addition, I have no idea who the new owner will be as I will probably sell it on Ebay.

    I sold V8 many years ago and never did a licence transfer, so I shall assume this is not an absolute requirement. Obviously the new owner of V8 activated it with no problems.

    Update - I just tried contacting Adobe and all contact links are disabled. Chat is the only option and that is greyed out. Tried the form upload link on the transfer form, and that is a dead link. So it looks like there is no way licences cannot be transferred.

    Use the Windows Control panel and choose Uninstall a Program.

    Product registration is separate to activation; so even if you have signed-out to deactivate, the products will still be visible in you Adobe account.
