I received a very official looking email msg from mail@e.adobe.com to remind me that Adobe Photoshop Elements is still in my cart.  It has an “Explore Your Cart” button and a “Learn More” button which I knew better than to press; so neither button was pressed.  There is no cart with anything in it.  Should I report this or send it to my spam folder.

    AI Overview

Forwarding an email as an attachment preserves the original email’s formatting and full header information. You can do this quickly by using the drag-and-drop method or built-in menus across major email clients

    In Gmail (Web)

    1. Drag & Drop: Open the email you want to forward. Click to compose a new message, then drag and drop the email from your inbox list into the body of the new message.
    2. Menu Option: Open the target email, click the three vertical dots (More) at the top right, and select Forward as attachment.

    In Microsoft Outlook (Web)

    1. Open the email in your inbox.
    2. Click the More actions button (three dots) at the top right of the message pane
      .
    3. Select Forward as attachment from the drop-down menu.

    In Microsoft Outlook (Desktop App)

    1. Select the email in your message list.
    2. Press Ctrl + Alt + F on your keyboard (or go to the Home tab, click More Respond Actions, and select Forward as Attachment).
    3. Alternatively, simply drag and drop the email from your list into an open compose window.

    In Apple Mail (Mac)

    1. Two-finger click (or right-click) the email you want to forward.
    2. Select Forward as Attachment from the pop-up menu.

@Phinny I submitted a report also because the links didn’t work and got worried after customer support told me it wasn’t legit, but Adobe phishing support just confirmed that it IS a legit marketing email but they can’t help me on why the links don’t work - they said to contact customer support, which is what I initially did and they told me it was a phishing email. We just go round and round. So doesn’t seem like there is anybody who can help.

I was surprised that phishing@adobe.com reported back that, they’d determined no violation of Adobe’s terms and policies had occurred and that no further action would be taken.  I consider that good news.

    In addition

According to Copilot, a cybersecurity reputation analysis shows the sub-domain e.adobe.com is registered to Adobe Inc. and has a 39‑year history, matching Adobe’s main domain age.  This is also good news.

As for those links that didn’t work for you just move on.  They couldn’t have been important.

And thank you too Glenn.  I’ve already received a reply from Adobe and they … well, I’ll just paste it here.   ‘Please send us the suspect email as an attachment so that we can properly review the message header.’

Question: exactly how is an email msg converted as an attachment so I can comply with their request?

I was able to choose ‘save as file’ (the open email msg) from the hamburger drop down and an eml file was born.  Forwarded as attachment.  Thanks again.

Anything from adobe would just be @Adobe.com,   it’s a weak scam that they put that “c” after the  @

You were correct not to click on unknown links. I would forward it to phishing@adobe.com
