Question

Discrepancy between my login activations, and the working computer with my Elements 14.

Well, my laptop computer just stopped working. (2013 model). So, I downloaded a copy of Elements 14, installed it on my new computer, and was advised that I had too many activations! On logging in to the Adobe site, I found that my login reported that I had Zero computers activated?

What I would like to do is reset all activations, then maybe I can get my paid version to work on my new computer

Hi @rayak99 ,

This is a very common situation where you have to call Adobe Care, since there is nothing in your Adobe account to tell you anything about you Elements activations. What you are seeing  is the activations for subscriptions like Photoshop, Lightroom, Acrobat, Indesign etc. You can see download links and licence numbers, not Elements activations.

The only way you can manage your activations yourself is in the Help menu: sign in or sign out. Usually, once you get in touch with an Adobe Staff helper, the process is very fast. However keep in mind that depending on your country, they will be only available on working days/hours. It happens that those staff members believe you are asking for help with an old, no longer supported software version: be very clear that you don't want support, only deactivation. If necessary ask to be transferred to a supervisor.
