Question

Display entire library on micro sd card?

As I was trying to restore my library from a Blu-ray It occurred to me that the total file size involved was small enough to be written to a micro sd card,  In fact i could easily put several times this amount onto a card in my phone or tablet,

If I were to do this does Adobe or anyone else have software that would allow me to see these photo's in a  PSE Organizer or similar app?

If the entire library was on a this sort of device might its use kill the battery because of the amount of searching that would be required to find them or would there be a quick search index?

I'm also aware that I can store as much as I would ever need on Google Photo's.

Thanks in advance

    Hi,

If I understand correctly, you wish to import the entire library of your MicroSD Card in your PSE Organizer app?

I don't necessarily want to do this but if I did I wanted to know if PSE or any other app can then work in a similar way as PSE's Organizer.    In other words would I get to select pictures by file name, date taken,GPS data,EXIF information etc.

There would be no problem with the total file size for most users since you can easily get a 128GB or larger microsd card.  Any search facility would need to be quick as you would not want to have to wait as it searched for requested photo('s).

If this facility was available then one could carry either some or all of there photos & keep them on a tablet.
