Does PSE 2024 fix a problem I have with the 2023 version 21.0 Organizer?

After I have imported photo folders and Organizer has completed facial recognition, I select an unnamed face and give it a name. The screen then jumps back to telling me to import images. I stumbled onto a workaround, which is to select Places then select back to unnamed. This seems to bring me back to a screen where I can continue to name some more unnamed faces. The same going to Places and back to People happens when I make some other actions. I have two questions. The question in my subject line and am I the only one with this jumping around thing?

No. Thw two versions will coexist. When you first launch EO 2024, you will be given the opportunity to convert your old catalog to Elements 2024. Respond yes. Your current catalog will be copied and given a numeric suffix. You can continue to use it with your current version of Elements. If you convert the catalog, all face analysis should be copied to the new catalog.
