Download errors with Elements 2018

I just downloaded the free trial of Elements 2018. After spending 20 minutes unable to open I researched help. Nothing specific to my issues. Another 20 minutes trying to get assistance. I was finally able to get Chat support and the session ended. I'm starting to think I was happy downloading the trial, since it doesn't seem to be very user or assistance friendly. It may have been a simple answer.

Fast forward to now. Just tried to contact Customer Care. It appears 2 minutes really means over 15 minutes. How can you stay in business? I am extremely angry.

I can't even get it to open.

Now that is not the biggest problem.

I tried for over an hour to get support, and search the forums. If I chose the wrong selection, I wouldn't even have an option for support.

The first time I was logged in for a conversation, it randomly ended. The second time, it told me I was on about a 2 minute wait. Almost 1/2 hour later, I finally had to shut down and leave for my appointment.

I tried to chat with someone to get help and this is what I got.
