Download problem

After downloading Elements 2023 many of my photos are upside down and sideways. How come?

Are you talking about the view in the Editor, the Organizer or both?

Have you converted a catalog from a prior version?

What is the format and/or source of the photos that have the troubled orientation? Please attach an example to your post.
