Downloaded Elements 2026 and trying to install Camera Raw.

I go to ‘Help” , <install Camera Raw> and follow the directions. 
When I go to use it (opening a .dng file) it keeps telling me to “install the Camera Raw plugin from the help menu.” 

I’ve tried multiple times with no results.
Using Windows 11 with all current updates and plenty of disk space.

    Did the installation complete?

    Check from the Editor help menu:

    Help > About Plug-In > Camera Raw

     

    You should see the insaller. for the add-on - see image Click continue and let it run to completion.

    The 5th time was a charm. My photo finally opened in Camera Raw!
