Dropdown Font Selection Menu blinks rapdily

Hi all,

For the last several weeks/months, each time I go to change the font type in PSE 14, when I select the drop down menu, it starts to blink quite rapidly and is almost unusable as a result.  I never had this problem before and not sure whether an update or perhaps a newly downloaded font may have created the issue. Does anyone have a solution?
